Terms of Service

Welcome to StockYan. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the StockYan mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use StockYan. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
• Provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Use of the Service

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Reverse engineer, scrape or copy substantial portions of the Service or its data.
• Interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

4. Market Data Disclaimer

StockYan provides market information — including live prices, floorsheet records, broker activity and portfolio analytics — for informational purposes only. The Service is not investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security.

• Market data is sourced from third parties and may contain delays, gaps or errors.
• You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and any resulting gains or losses.
• Past performance shown in the app does not guarantee future results.

5. Intellectual Property

StockYan and its content, design, logos and software are owned by Investo Nepal and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of data you input (such as portfolio entries and watchlists). By using the Service, you grant Investo Nepal a limited license to host, store and display this content as needed to operate the Service.

7. Fees & Paid Features

The core StockYan app is free to use. Optional paid features, when offered, will be clearly priced at the point of purchase and governed by additional terms presented in-app.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from within the app.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Investo Nepal and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, investments, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Investo Nepal harmless from any claim, loss or expense arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or our website. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
